This module explores: What is personal recovery? Why is self-reflection important to my recovery journey? Imagining the life you want to live.

Connectedness

This module explores: What does connectedness mean? Why it is important to my recovery? What can I do to create and maintain social connections?

Hope and Optimism

This module explores: What is hope and why is it important?
How can hope be nurtured? What is optimism and how can I build and maintain it?

Identity

This module explores: Rebuilding a positive sense of who you are? Why is having a sense of identity important to recovery?
Overcoming stigma.

Meaning and Purpose

This module explores: What is meaning and purpose? Why is it important to my recovery? How do I find, define, build, or rebuild meaning and purpose in my life?

Empowerment

This module explores: What is empowerment? Why is empowerment important to my recovery? How can I 
empower myself?

Welcome to the
Your Personal Recovery Journey
Online Course

This course is an online virtual education program that is intended for anyone living with signs and symptoms of a mental illness or mental health problem that affects their lives. It is a self-paced and self-directed course.

Once you have completed all six modules, you will
be able to print out a certificate of completion.

Getting Started

Our online learning portal is
easy to use and secure.

Register using your email address, then read and agree to the terms of the User Agreement. Workbooks can either be printed out to write in, and/or exercises can be completed digitally.

Your progress can be tracked using your personal learning dashboard. You can stop at any time and click “save” at the bottom of your page to be able to return to where you left off. You can also look at previous information and exercises within a specific module using the back button.

Why Your Personal Recovery Journey?

The content of Your Personal Recovery Journey was co-produced by people with lived experience of mental illness and lived experience of recovery.

These are flexible, self-paced modules that you can do at your own convenience and pace. You can take the modules on your computer, tablet, or phone.
